privacy
last updated: 2026
what we store
- an anonymous id (random 16 bytes) in a signed cookie on your device.
- the questions and answers you submit, tied to that anonymous id.
- a nickname if you set one.
- a running credit count.
what we don't store
- your email, phone, or real name — we never ask.
- we don't knowingly log ip addresses at the application layer.
third parties
we use these vendors:
- vercel — hosts the site. their infrastructure may log request metadata (ip, user-agent, path) for security. see vercel privacy policy.
- upstash — hosts the redis database. see upstash privacy policy.
- google adsense (if enabled) — may show ads and use cookies to personalize them. see how google uses ad cookies. you can opt out at google ads settings.
cookies
one first-party httponly cookie meatgpt_uid for your anonymous session. third-party cookies from google may be set when ads are enabled.
deletion
clear cookies to abandon your anonymous id. we don't have a way to link a specific person to their data, so “request deletion by name” isn't meaningful here — but you can email the address in about with your cookie value and we'll purge it.
